While the immigration policy continues to realize a shift towards social integration, acceptance of immigrants among the general public still lags behind, and the lack of systematic education is believed to be one of the main causes. In particular, it is essential to provide continuous education tailored to each school age for children and adolescents, however, currently, in the majority of cases, only one-time special classes are available for students. Therefore, this study examined the current status of education on cultural diversity for children and adolescents with a primary focus on the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, the Ministry of Justice, and the Seoul Metropolitan Government, and discussed the need for a systematic educational program ideally suited for each school age group. To appropriately deal with these policy issues, the study explored the case examples of the educational programs for children and adolescents in Germany, Canada, and Australia suggested the ways to apply those cases in the context of South Korea. Based on this study, it is necessary to develop educational content applicable to reality.
