Welcome to IOM MRTC’s Website

Established in December 2009 through a special partnership between the Korea government and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the Migration Research and Training Center (MRTC) has pioneered research and training on migration policy and partnered with organization in home and abroad to conduct more effective and productive research and training.

The MRTC will be at the forefront of developing migration policy research and education progrmame that can help both native and foreigners, central and municipal governments, and international relation between Korea and other countries. Also, The MRTC will take a lead in providing outlook and recommendations for policymakers and the public through assessing economic and social challenges that migration can bring.
